29/30 Wks.

I've officially hit the point where I am in the actual home stretch. I cant believe it. In less than 11 weeks I'll be a mom. WOW. Not 11 weeks i'll be going to miami for spring break or something, lol..i'll be bringing a LIFE into this world. Someone will be depending on me for the rest of my life. It's really hard to grasp right now but I'm sure i'll get it. Like everybody says, my motherly instincts will kick in. On another note, heres a pic of me today, I would say I look rather bright and glowy!

And I did partake in my bi-weekly beauty session today ( brows, nails and toes) and as I usually do, I bought the baby somethings..lol...mostly onesies, and a pair of jeans! hehe...When I got home I got the best surprise though, it was an evelope addressed to who else, Ayden lol....then I open it up and see this:

3hr Test.

So, yesterday I had my 3hr glucose test! OMG!!!!! First of all, I was up on the phone w/my BF until like 6am...lol...dont ask. THEN I had to wake up at 7am to get dressed and go to LabCorp. I was the first one there so I got started on time....

dont be fooled. that orange drink is NOT soda. its the nastiest substance known to man. Long story short, I had to drink that within 5 minutes. I started at 8:15 and it was all good. Then maybe around 8:45am my legs started to tingle and I felt like I was high ( lol) and I was like, who thought that not eating before drinking a PURE sugar drink was a good idea?! So, after many hot flashes and the baby turning flips like i've never seen before it was 9:15, 2ND tube of blood. Then I got smart, there was a bench in the waiting area. Me being preggo I have a built in excuse, I laid down. lol...The nurse walked past me like 4 times before she asked if I wanted to lay down. DUH!!!!!! So I end up in the staff breakroom in a recliner. I pushed my feet up, pushed back and was OUT!! 10:15, 3rd tube of blood. SLEEP AGAIN!! 11:15 4th tube of blood and time to go. THANK GOD.

That was me after 3 hours of waiting and NO food since like 8pm the night before. So glad that's over, now I have to wait until Feb. 5th to get my results. I hope I passed because I really dont feel like modifying my diet. I hardly eat anything to begin with! Should I have gestational diabetes, I dont want my baby to be HUGE lol..like, me, having a 10lb baby! ARE YOU SERIOUS!? All those cute ass onesies I bought, lol...$$ down the tube! I joke I joke...but seriously.

OMG!!

I dont know what's going on. ALL DAY today I've actually felt like a pregnant person. Like, i've been waddling all day, my back has been KILLING me, he's moving around in ways i've never seen, like he's trying to make room....and lets not talk about how he feels like he weighs 192lbs. I dont get it..It's like theres no comfort for me today and that blows.

I guess this is what i've been waiting for since I've had no symptoms but dang,..why you gotta do me like this Ayden?? I mean, my stomach LITERALLY looks like, I cant even explain, it's so weird its scary looking. lol..I really have a baby in my stomach. Lol..7 months down the road, I still havent QUITE grasped the concept but I'm guessing the almost $1000 I've spent on baby stuff ( not including cribs, strollers, etc..) proves that SOMETHING is going on.

Jeez, let's hope I can get some sleep because it's 7:18am, I just got off work at like 6 and I cant see any hopes of going to sleep.

I am the weakest link!

I TOTALLY failed my 1hr Gestational Diabetes test. I needed at 140 to pass and I had 146, BLAH!

I'm guessing it was the super sized hi-c I'd drank earlier that day AND OR the yogurt i'd had at like 1145 when I was told to stop eating at 12. So thanks to me not knowing what to eat and what i could eat, I have to go back monday and take the 3HOUR TEST!!! 3 hours at Labcorp!? Wack.

Other than that, everything else looked good, I've gained 6 lbs since the last appt ( in which I hadnt gained ANY weight since my october appt) so now I'm at a WHOPPING 131 lbs. lol..which brings my total to 18lbs. I'm guessing thats good. =/

Again when I was getting the baby's heart beat checked, he ran away. Lol..Im guessing he REALLY doesnt like that thing.

As I sit here now and eat my breakfast sandwhich and hi-c fruit punch, I'll make a mental note on sunday to NOT drink anything but water and eat very little! I refuse to let them tell me I have gestational diabetes! I love eating whatever I want. We shall see...

Here's the latest pics of me. I still try to be the slightest bit fashionable while sperminated. As you can see I dont like doing my hair, I just tend to wear hats. They work for me so it's okay! And if you hadnt noticed, all my pics have been taken in the bathroom, lol...its the best place for my photoshoots I suppose.

That's something I will TOTALLY pass on. I wish I would come into the room and see my BF w/his "man breast" stuck in Ayden's mouth, I just might pass out from the high levels of disgusting-ness. Breastfeeding was always kept a woman's "job" because lets face it, IT IS. Why do certain men think that "oh I need to bond with the baby too." Well try taking your baby out on a daddy/son/daughter day, play some games, SOMETHING.

That's too much for me. lol..

I think it's a first.

So, I'm at work right now and I think i'm experiencing my first set of baby hiccups. I think. Or maybe i'm just now realizing what they are lol..either way its very weird.

This whole thing, pregnancy is REALLY weird to me. I cant believe theres really a little person inside. lol.. A PERSON!! A BABY!! Are you serious?!? But he's moving alot more lately so its making it all the more real. And I just hit that 3rd trimester mark so it's all coming to a close soon. I wonder if I'll miss him floating around in my stomach? I tell ya what I wont miss, sleeping on my side!!! lol...SIDE SLEEPING BE GONE!

I need to make another video of him moving because its like lately, theres no resting for him ONLY when people want to see it or touch. But when we're alone, he's like jumpin' jack flash! I wonder if that means he's gonna be all over the place!? jeez...lol

And wednesday i'm getting my 1hr glucose test. Im not even really sure what that is but I know I cant eat or drink anything but water after 12am on wednesday night. UGH..lets hope I pass so that I dont have to take the 3hr test later on. My dr appt's are gonna start happening every 2 weeks now, greattttttt..lol and my 3d/4d ultrasound i'm gonna schedule soon too. So I can finally see his fat little face!! lol

13 wks to go!

When you say 13 weeks it sounds shorter than 3 months and 1 week. Because THAT seems like it'll NEVER come! Although I am scared to become a mom, I'm just ready to be able to sleep on my STOMACH!! lol...I never knew how much much I loved to do that until now when I cant. Yes I do the same pose in every picture...seems as though that is my best angle right now.

One of the girls at work gave me a "baby care" basket:

It has Dreft detergent and Laundry spray, Lysol wipes, a travel set of mini johnson & johnson's stuff, some little booties, a potato sack night sleeper and a blanket! It was really nice of her!

I'm starting to get impatient...lol...i'm ready to have this baby because I wanna see what he's gonna look like. My BF insists that his genes are stronger than mine MEANING the baby will look like him mostly. I mean, can I get something!? He's already basically gonna have his name lol, can I get just a LITTLE resemblence!??! Probably not. I'm getting the 3D/4D ultrasound in about 2 weeks, so we will see then..lol...

Oh and this is ONE of the last few SETS of clothes I bought for him...lol..his wardrobe has too much going on right now.

Huggies Express

Today I bought my first "pack/set" of diapers, wipes, pacifiers, and misc other Huggies items. I was in walmart trying to decide what type of diapers to use. I liked the way Pampers swaddlers looked ( in the package and they are super publicized) but the thing that sold me on Huggies was the little "dip" it had at the top for his little umbilical cord thingy. =) And there is more room in the front for his little pee-pee after the circumcision. =(

I opened the 1 pack of newborn diapers I bought and they were SOOOOOOOOOOOOO little. Me and my mom were both like "awwwwwww." I get so excited over buying baby stuff its crazy. Its so much more fun to buy stuff for your baby than someone elses.

Either way, I'm gonna go get a Sam's/Costco somewhere card so I can get more diapers. HOWEVER after more research, I noticed that the same pack of 584 fragrance free Huggies Natural Care wipes that I got from walmart for 13.00 was 15 @ Costco. Not a deal...I'll stick w/walmart...I got lots of stuff for only $58.62. I dont know if that's cheap or not but, all the clothes I've bought have been on sale so I havent spent full retail on any of the many outfits, I might as well spend money so he doesnt have little rashes and leaks on his butt!

MIddle Name Cont'd..

For those who've actually paid attention, there is a poll along the right side of my blog. That is a poll tallying votes for my baby's middle name. Now, we have decided that whatever name wins is what we are going give the baby.

And from the looks of things "Akil" is in the lead. I smell fishy business going on!! Because I voted once and NOT for that one. lol..we shall see.

Anyway, I'm starting to get more and more hands on my belly and its starting to work my nerves more and more. I suppose its okay for random people to touch your stomach. I wasnt aware of that. Regardless, I need to get a shirt that says "Dont Touch Me."

Anybody know where to get one??
