Sleepover!

So Ayden had his first sleep over with his God Mother this wknd. It looked fun. lol, she took hella pictures and even videos. He's getting so big. I cant deal. Like, hes growing up so fast. His little personality is starting to show and its sooo much like me. lol, im in for a rude awakening when he starts talking!

Jumperoo

So we bought Ayden a jumperoo and he loves it!! He's grasping the concept of jumping around. He also loves falling asleep in it!!! Heres the footage:

updated stats, he's now 16 lbs 10 oz!! 25.5 inches long! hes huge!! lol. chunky.

And we also ventured into the world of baby cereal...he wasnt too thrilled about it! You know i made a video.

needless to say...im sure he will get used to it soon. Hes gonna have to. He eats so much, i can hardly keep enough formula! lol. Those little cereal boxes and baby purees are soooooo much cheaper!

My sweet pea has gotten so big. He will be 4 months old on sunday. WOW...time sure is flying! I cant wait until i go to homecoming this year because he will be like 6 months almost 7. So he can come hang out on the yard in his costume!! YAY!! After we go to the Dr on the 11th of this month i'll post his newest stats! Hes HUGE YALL!!

Mommy Update.

So..I know I havent been up on my posting job but, motherhood is a SUPER FULL TIME JOB!! lol..updates, Ayden is now 3 months old and weighs at LEAST 14lbs. He's about 25'' and hes growing every day. He's starting to smile at us, recognize our faces, get happy when we come around. All the fun stuff!!

He took his first airplane ride the other day. We went to Dallas to visit my dad and he did great on the plane. but the heat was NOT his favorite! However he went swimming for the first time which ALSO wasnt his fav! lol...he just didnt like anything that wknd.

but i've lost all my baby weight ( FRICK) and im not too happy about it oh well.

Hes become so a cutie pie and i cant wait to see what kind of kid he blossoms into!

My sweet pea is almost 7 weeks old. WOW. 

He's getting bigger everyday. He's smiling at me. He looks for me when I call him. I NEVER WOULDVE thought i'd turn into a mom and damnit, i'm a mom. I LOVE IT! I love going to work and coming home to him. I miss him when I'm gone. I miss him when i'm around. I'm so in love yall. Who knew last year this time that a year later, I'd have a mini me. Well...not ME per say but u get it. 

Hes already quite the character. He makes the FUNNIEST FACES!!

If I've never loved anything before, I love this little person!!! I know I'm spoiling him but I like to let him sleep on me. All the time! LOL I love looking at him..smelling him...touching him...everything! Crazy.

Public Service Announcement.

Just so everybody is FULLY aware, I tried breast feeding and it's TOTALLY not for me. I'm scared to go to sleep because i can only lay down for 2 hrs before they are all swollen and stupid! I love having the SIZE but the pain isnt a good enough trade off. So guess what...I PASS! Ayden has a dr. appt tomorrow and I will be asking her what formula is closest to breastmilk and i'll be switching over TOMORROW. I cant deal...I'm sure he'll understand. lol ..if not..he cant beat me! 

Postpartum.

Its been a week since I've had Ayden and I must say, I slightly miss him being inside. SLIGHTLY. lol 

I'm not sure if its the post baby blues but my mind has been all over the place. Either i'm thinking about how much its gonna hurt when I wake up because of my HUGE boobs swelling up, or wether its how much I wanna take him outside but i'm scared of germs (lol) or about us moving to California. I'm just so unsure about everything now because I just dont know. Like honestly. 

Im so tired every day but I just dont even worry about it because when he wimpers, I jump. I can hardly sleep well unless he's w/my mom. Cuz I know she's attentive and doing what she knows to do to soothe him and calm him down. 

I dont know man. I just have alot on my mind and when the baby came, everything seemed to change for me. EVERYTHING. 

Motherhood so far..

isnt what I thought it would be. lol...It's hard yes, its very tiring yes, but its all worth it. To see his little round face, wrinkly skin and to hear his little whimpers makes me feel like a completely new person. Who ever thought that I would be a mom. lol..most people could never see it. And now that I am, I ♥ it. I really do. 

I dont wanna let anybody do anything, I wanna do it all but I'm the one who ends up exhausted and all crabby patty the next morning, because not ONLY is he a baby ninja, he seems to be part hoot owl. MEANING he sleeps all day and is wide eyed all night. THANKS. I blame my work schedule. Because I did keep those kinds of hours. Oh well...c'est la vie! Isnt that how its spelled?? 

Well we've been to the Dr. already, Dr. Walker. She's great! I have some pics: 

first day in the real world, etc...it went well. I can see that the car is his friend.

woke up @ 11am - felt funny

counted contractions until like 1pm, took a bath, got out, got dresses, headed to my dr appt. Got there, he checked me and was like, ur only 1cm..go home. I told him NO. lol..so me and my mom rode around for an hour and seriously they were coming like every 2 or 3 min...so we rode back to the dr ( which is right across from the the hospital) and I sat in the parking lot for 20 min..I saw the dr come out and I told him, I'm going to the hospital...he said COOL. lmao..

i get here, cant find a park..OMG! Rode in the deck for like 10 min..then i say, EFF IT..we parked direclty in front of the door and put on the hazards. Got wheeled upstairs to triage, the left me in there for like 6 months, then when I got checked, I was 4cm. I stayed there for like 15 more min then went to my l&d room. HELLA BIG by the way!!

After about 15 more minutes or 20, i dont really recall, lol...the epidural was wheeled in, NOT BEFORE my boss, brother, cousin, best friend, brothers roomate and friend came in to watch me contract my LIFE away. I got checked before my epidural and I was 7 1/2..WOW.

I got the epidural and still felt hella contractions, so after an hour of feeling them, I ended up having to get another dose. After 10 min, which is approx 7:25pm by now, I was fully dialated and ready to push. I started pushing at like 7:45 or so..he was out and crying at 8:11pm.
A total of 9hrs in labor! I was really surprised AND i didnt tear and or shat on the table! YES!!!!
He latched on right away! He's cute! I love him!

and yes i'm so glad I got those maternity pics taken yesterday..I would've been pissed and if ya'll EVER need a bomb photographer, a fellow banana member cghetes took my pics and did a WONDERFUL job!!

OKAY, NEW POLL!

Since I'm doing absolutely nothing, I've gone through all the baby clothes and decided on two diff coming home outfits.

I'm really torn. lol..not really BUT..both outfits are EXTRAAAAAAAAAAA cute! the 2nd one is more cutesey baby and the first is more big boy outfit, complete with his first pair of sneakers! hehe ( bought by G.D. Tank). They both have jackets, socks, scratch mittens and little hats. What do you think?

Travel System

I dont get why everything has to be "self" put together. ARGH..and the pictures in the little manual werent worth a CRAP!! All it says was like " put this here" "snap that in there"..WHAT?! Either way..I got it in..and it looks cute!!

I guess man.

Why is that picture so large u ask!? Because at my weekly appt I was totally blown. Here's the rundown:

*im not dialated, ANY

*I'm not thinning out, ANY

*The baby weighs 6lbs 12oz ( give or take a few oz)

*They wont/cant induce me because my cervix is "un-induceable"

*The baby is measuring a WEEK smaller than they initially said THEREFORE letting me know that they should've listened to me when I told them 28 weeks ago that I wasnt as far as they think I am.

*and my blood pressure is high.

Ayden...what r u doing in there?! Other than a bunch of nothing. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

The waiting game..

ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...14 days left. And I mean really..why havent I gone into early labor!? I'm a full 38 weeks...Ayden is TOTALLY capable of living outside my body. But no..he's just CHILLIN. Im gaining weight day by day, I'm up to 144lbs. Come on man!!

My BF isnt coming out here until April 9th and more than likely i'll STILL be preggo. Atleast he will be here for my bday on the 10th. I'll be a whopping 28years old! JEEEEZZZZZ. Bday and baby all within days of each other. Its crazy.

I still have 6 days of work left and they are driving me CRAZY!!! I'm having a breakdown. I'm soooooo physically and emotionally tired right now. I cant wait till the 7th comes...FMLA TIME!!! lol..lazy days. Unless the baby comes lol...

OH..and I got my travel system ( thanks Godmommy Nia) and instead of the Graco, I ended up getting the Chicco Cortina Keyfit. The Graco was kind of dingy looking once I saw it in person but the Chicco was pretty, modern and had great colors AND was like pounds lighter!! This isnt the actual one because its still in the box..i'll be trotting over to the fire dept so they can install it properly. Pics soon!

Until then..we play the waiting game. BLAH.

Bored senseless

I'm Bored out of my mind!! Why can't the baby be here so I atleast have a legitimate reason to NOT be sleep! I could atleast be looking at him, changing a diaper, feeding something!! LOL all and I do mean allll of my friends are out doing something, me? I'm at home watching the movie Penelope and counting baby kicks! Tons of fun!

I got a new car the day before yesterday and I'm totally excited about that!! Not my dream car but it's great either way! I finally got my Honda! My volkswagen a.k.a BB was too small for my growing family. I could hardly fit my large Michael Kors shopping bags back there!

36.5wk Check Up

At my dr.'s appt today, I was HOPING that he would say, HEY, you're dialated 2 cm...blah blah...induce early..blah blah. NO SUCH LUCK.

She said the baby has started to descend but he's still high up. My cervix is starting to soften but not thin out. ARGHHHH...lol. I had a group B strep test and lemme just tell ya...talk about uncomfortable! A cotton swab stuck up my butt, DISGUSTING! lol...and she did a vaginal exam. Apparently she decided to use the LARGEST speculum EVER invented! Chile..i literally let out a noise! She was like " oh, im sorry...let me get a smaller speculum!" YEAH!! YOU DO THAT LADY!!! I've been closed up for the past 8 months. Aint too much going on in there!! lol

Anyway..I've gained ONE whole pound, leaving me at 141lbs. blood pressure 114/70. Tummy measuring 36 to 37. Whatever that means.

lol..such a boring, regular, uneventful pregnancy. But I guess thats always good.

Since I hadnt done any belly shots in like 2 months, I figured I should show how round i am now. I literally look like I have a basketball in my stomach! lol..i also had a mini photoshoot of myself...I thought I was cute today! hehe..in the words of my boyfriend " ur pretty everyday billy!" Handy-Preggo!

Again, I bought something that required assembly. The Fisher Price Infant Papasan Seat! Ive been in love with this little lounger since the day I found out I was pregnant! So, thanks to the ever efficient Burlington Coat Factory, i got it for $44.99 instead of 69.99. DEAL!!! hehe..heres the pictures, clearly they uploaded in reverse order but YOU get the idea:

Next project: GRACO TRAVEL SYSTEM!!! I should have it by wednesday and there will definitley be pics of me putting it together! AND pictures of me at the firestation getting it "professionally" put in my the firemen so its "done properly." lol..I would hate to have it installed wrong and then when i'm heading home and hit a sharp turn..THUD...baby on the floor! LMAO!!
